Tuscarawas County Art Guild

Welcome to the Tuscarawas County Art Guild

The Tuscarawas County Art Guild is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit public
charity created to promote art awareness in Tuscarawas County and
surrounding areas. We support the creative growth of its members and area
artists. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday evening of each month at
7:00p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Center For The Arts. The first
half hour of our meeting covers old and new business of the Tuscarawas
County Art Guild with the "Artists' Forum" beginning at 7:30 pm.

Guest Speakers

Some of the meetings will feature speakers on subjects of interest to members,
such as photographing art work, the artist and taxes, business issues in art, as
well as art slide presentations. Other meeting forums provide opportunities for
members to bring their own work for critique and to view and discuss others'
work. A social period follows each meeting. All meetings are open to the public.

Shows and Events

Throughout the year various shows and events are sponsored by the Guild
which provide opportunities for artists to show
and sell their work. The New Town Mall, Zoar Harvest Festival, Reeves Museum
Ice cream Social are a few of the exhibitions throughout the year.. The
Tuscarawas County Art Guild also schedules an All Members Show at the
Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts in November and December. These are
non-juried selling opportunities exclusively for Tuscarawas County Art Guild
members.
